Rochester Diesel, formerly Rochester Fuel Injection, has been servicing the diesel industry for the past 30 years. We are located at 6430 Highway 63 South in Rochester, MN just north of the airport. Over the past 30 years the diesel industry has grown with technology and Rochester Diesel has grown with the technology. The former industry of mechanical pumps and injectors is giving way to EUI (electronic unit injectors), common rail injection and an enhancement technique know as extrude honing. Rochester Diesel has made investments in new test benches and a hone machine to accommodate all of the advancements. Rochester Diesel has also built drive-in service bays to accommodate everything in size from Class 8 semis down to diesel lawn mowers and we work on all of it.
Extrude Hone High Flow Micro Flow
Rochester Diesel custom built the largest extrude hone micro flow machine in North America to meet our customers demands.
Extrude Honing Process
Rochester Diesel can now process nozzles from four thousandths to forty thousandth plus hole size. This process produces nozzles that will flow within a half percent of the target flow.
Our Custom Hone Programs
Rochester Diesel also has custom hone programs that will produce mileage, horsepower and all out performance injectors. Rochester Diesel will work with any customers request. 5 Axis CnC Camera Guided EDM Machine

Rochester Diesel has a brand new 5-axis EDM machine. This has been two years in the making and we are VERY excited to announce its arrival!
This is a 5 axis, camera guided EDM machine. This machine can process holes from four thousandths to forty thousandths and every ten thousandths of an inch in between. This means there are over 421 sizes of electrodes available to create any size custom nozzle per customers request.
ISX Injector Testing
Rochester Diesel now has the ability to test Cummins ISX injectors. Our new Maktest bench can test mechanical ISX injectors. After testing the injector, we can provide a printed data sheet for each injector detailing whether the injector is functioning correctly or not. If it's not operating correctly we well be able to tell you why. After determining the functionality of your injector , we can provide you a manufactured injector or hone your nozzles for a performance application.

Electronic Unit Injectors (EUI)
At Rochester Diesel our AVM-2PC test bench by Hartridge tests all of our EUI injectors including Cat, Detroit, Cummins, Volvo and John Deere. We are the only authorized shop in North America that uses OEM parts to rebuild you injectors so when you get you injector back it’s brand new from the inside out.
All of Rochester Diesel’s injector sets are flow matched. This means that all injectors in a set will flow the same amount of fuel within 2% of each other. This allows all of the injectors in a set to use the same trim code. A trim code is required to ensure your injectors all work together and your engine runs smoothly.
Because a rebuilt injector flows differently than prior to being rebuilt, reusing the trim code previously assigned to the injector does not work. We’ve seen it repeatedly. Customers that get their injectors rebuilt elsewhere, and do not a have a new trim code assigned, don’t gain anything and the engine doesn’t run any better.
We also use our AVM-2PC bench to rebuild EUP (electronic unit pumps) by Mack.

Our Hartridge common rail test bench, known as a CRIPC, tests common rail injectors with shot-to-shot technology. This means that the test bench measures the quantity of fuel that goes through the injector each time the injector fires. This is important because with shot-to-shot technology you know specifically what the injector is doing and then the injector can be balanced. This ensures that each shot is equal producing a smooth running engine.

Fuel Injection Test Equipment
Rochester Diesel (formerly Rochester Fuel Injection) is factory authorized to service diesel injection pumps and diesel injectors for the following manufacturers: AMBAC International, Bosch, Denso (Nippondenso), Delphi, Stanadyne (Roosa Master), Yanmar and Zexel.
We are also an authorized distributor for Alliant Power HEUI injectors.These are not aftermarket injectors but the OE injectors that were in the original Ford 7.3 Powerstroke, Navistar T444E, DT466 and DT530 engines when they came off of the assembly line. We can service these injectors or sell new.

HEUI Injectors
Rochester Diesel now has the ability to test a wide variety of HEUI injectors on our new Hartridge HA230 test bench. Our new Hartridge bench can test C7/C9 Cat injectors, Cat 3126 engine injectors, 7.3L Ford Powerstroke injectors, the G2.8 injector for the 6.0L Ford application and the G2.9 injector used in the Navistar application. After testing the injector, we can tell you if your injector is functioning correctly or not and if not, why. After determining the functionality of you injector, we can provide you a remanufactured injector or hone your nozzles for a performance application.
